Lamb Burgers

This lamb burger recipe has become a favorite in our house this past year, ever since we changed our mindset and use food to heal and nourish our bodies.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb

  • 1-2 teaspoons of good quality cinnamon (preferably organic)

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder

  • 2 tablespoon organic virgin coconut oil for cooking

  • 1-2 tablespoons of coconut nectar (not pictured)

  • Salt to taste

Instructions

Form into patties about 1/2 inch thick like “burgers” and add all spices. Cook on medium high heat until both sides are seared. Using a meat thermometer -make sure each burger reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees F. Drizzle with coconut nectar and enjoy!

These can easily be made ahead of time and lightly warmed.
