God is an anchor

First, let’s look at what God isn’t. He isn’t the type of God to throw you here and there. He isn’t a God of confusion.

God is the anchor of peace. What He says will happen, happens.

God is not the author of confusion but of peace… NKJV

1 Corinthians 14:33

Have you ever found yourself wondering why something is happening in your life? Struggled to make sense of the decisions being made around you?

It is normal to wonder how certain situations come about. In 2022 many are facing broken relationships, countries at war, and financial worries in the West and abroad.

The most important part of our lives, the Creator and His plans for us is something God tells us never to confuse. From the point He spoke to Moses in the burning bush to the beckoning of Peter across the water, God is always in control. His plans are for good and not for harm.

He is an anchor for our souls.

He is both the mighty strength of an anchor and our divine rock who will not be moved. He does not change like shifting shadows, yet remains the same God daily.

If you are facing a situation today where you feel confused, allow me to help you look to God and be reminded that He is in the midst of all. He is your strength when you are weary and your hope above all other hope.

The material things of this world will pass but God’s love and surpassing peace will remain. Take heart today, dear one.

Xoxo
